Lee’s Cream Liqueur in “Forbes” Magazine

.

Forbes lists Lee’s Cream Liqueur as one of the reasons you should visit Scottsdale. We couldn’t agree more!

“Featuring an altogether different spin on boozy treats, Lee’s Cream Liqueur on Stetson Drive serves up alcohol-infused ice cream. While Lee’s has been popular since it opened in July 2010, it recently introduced new flavors including caramel bacon with Jack Daniels, red velvet with scotch and balsamic walnuts with Irish whiskey. And starting next week, the shop will offer full-scale alcohol-infused ice cream cakes.”

The Best Spiked Ice Cream in Phoenix? Who Else?!

.

Thank you, New Times, for voting Lee’s Cream Liqueur the best spiked ice cream in Phoenix.

From the article:

If there are two things on Earth that should elope and never look back, it’s ice cream and booze. A true match made in Heaven. Lee’s Cream Liqueur has brought Heaven to Earth (Old Town Scottsdale, to be exact) with its boozy concoctions of ice cream and your favorite hard liquors. All your favorites from your, um, drinking days are here: Black Russian with Kahlua, Alabama Slammer with Southern Comfort, Mai-Tai, and even a prickly pear ice cream spiked with tequila. The liquor-laced ice creams are strictly for the 21-and-over crowd but Lee’s also offers non-booze-filled flavors, too, like banana Oreo cookie.

Lee’s Cream Liqueur Voted Top 10 Ice Cream in PHX

.
“Bring ID. And maybe a designated driver. That’s because the premium ice cream at Lee’s is infused with spirits, and you must be at least 21 to order it. It’s hard not to get in the spirit with a blend called the Godfather, a mix of coffee ice cream and scotch. The Silk Stocking combines chocolate-chip-walnut ice cream with a shot of tequila. And the wonderful chocolate swirl gets you swirling with Jack Daniel’s.”

LCL in Sunset Magazine

LCL in Sunset Magazine
.

That’s not your eyes playing tricks on you! Lee’s was featured in Sunset’s September magazine. Here’s what the nice folks had to say:

Be prepared to show ID when you order a cone from Lee’s Cream Liqueur, where a scoop of turtle cheesecake gets spiked with brandy, and the heavenly chocolate swirl is imbued with Jack Daniel’s. Lee Turner, a systems programmer by day, opened the tiny downtown parlor last summer. Stop by for a creamy nightcap root beer float drizzled with dark rum. Don’t want to imbibe? Try alcohol-free flavors like banana-Oreo or matcha green tea.

Lee’s is a Chow Bella Favorite Frozen Treat

.

Chow Bella, the food blog of Phoenix New Times, had some pretty sweet things to say about Lee’s Cream Liqueur. See the full article here and read their review of our cinnamon bun ice cream below.

1. Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream from Lee’s Cream Liqueurs
There’s nothing much to say about the cinnamon bun ice cream at Lee’s Cream Liqueurs, but that’s probably because we’re too busy scarfing down the sweet, rich dessert to mumble anything more than “mmm.” Kissed with a dash of cinnamon and spiked with real brandy, this adult-friendly treat simultaneously warms and cools your mouth — providing the same mouthwatering wake-up call as a real sticky bun, at any time of day.

Lee’s Cream Liqueur is “Best New Ice Cream Parlor”

.

Via azcentral.com:

Make sure you bring your ID. And maybe a designated driver. That’s because Lee’s is no ordinary ice cream parlor.

It’s the Valley’s first adult ice cream parlor, featuring premium ice cream infused with spirits. Here are the numbers: 18 to 22 percent butterfat; 5 percent alcohol.

There are several candidates for top flavor honors.

The Godfather is a wicked blend of coffee ice cream and scotch. Tequila goes down real easy when it’s incorporated into a chocolate chip walnut ice cream delivery system. And give the Chocolate Swirl a whirl. Swirled with Jack Daniel’s, it combines the fat, sugar and alcohol we’re genetically wired to crave in one lethal package.
