This Chocolate Cranberry Almond Fudge is delicious! It is quite easy. All you have to do is mix dark chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. The best part is that no candy thermometer is required.

I don’t make fudge very frequently, but when I do, it reminds me how easy it is! Today I’m back at Better Homes & Gardens with this Chocolate Orange Cranberry Fudge. This fudge doesn’t need much work, yet you’d never guess it after just one mouthful.

I’ve tried making fudge using a candy thermometer before, and although it’s not difficult, I think it’s simpler to goof up. What if you overheat it or overmix it, resulting in crumbly fudge? Not that cool. As a result, I prefer dishes with sweetened condensed milk. Do you share my sentiments?

The original recipe called for white chocolate fudge with cranberries and pistachios. I used dark chocolate for the white chocolate in this recipe. I also substituted thinly sliced almonds for the pistachios.

The orange zest is one of the greatest aspects of this dish. When mixed with chocolate, it really enhances the taste. This approach was originally used when I prepared my White Chocolate Orange Cranberry Bark.I was pleased with the results at the time, so I figured this fudge would be as satisfying.

My one piece of advice for creating this fudge is to use a small pan, such as an 8-inch square pan. I usually coat them with parchment paper or tin foil to make removal easier. It makes slicing considerably simpler!

The nicest thing about this fudge is that it can be made in whatever flavor you like. Do you dislike almonds? Don’t be concerned. Fill with your favorite fillings! Please visit for the original recipe.
