This Pumpkin Pie Roll is a simple and fast way to surprise your guests. A cinnamon, sugar, and pumpkin pie filling-filled dessert roll.

Shawn from I Wash, You Dry inspired these sweets. She made a Smores Pizza Roll a few months back that looked delicious. In addition, while I was in Breckenridge for Thanksgiving last year, I stopped at the Crepe shop and had a Pumpkin Pie Crepe. It included cinnamon, sugar, pumpkin pie filling, and graham crackers within. Since then, I’ve been dying to make my own version of that dessert.

Because I am really fascinated with pumpkin, this pie vanished with each shot I took. This pumpkin roll will have a wonderful crisp top if served immediately after baking since the cinnamon and sugar caramelize a little. I sliced myself a piece once it had cooled somewhat, and it was just divine. I then kept it overnight, and it softened somewhat, reminding me of a cinnamon roll.

This dish is quite easy! I used a Pillsbury Pizza Crust that had previously been made. All you have to do is unroll it, put your stuff on the inside, then wrap it up as you would cinnamon buns. The whole roll is baked in one piece. This is the first time I’ve used a Pillsbury crust in this manner, and I believe it’s a fantastic idea.

Some recipes may instruct you to bake the crust before adding the ingredients, but I did not. As a consequence, I had to bake it for a little longer than usual, but it was exactly right. As previously said, the exterior layer is somewhat sharp, while the interior is quite soft.

Imagine serving this with whipped cream or ice cream on the side; it would be fantastic! Plus, I completely ate this for breakfast the following morning, so there’s no judgment here!
