Try this Frozen Rice Krispie Treat Milkshake, which combines vanilla ice cream, marshmallow crème, and crushed Rice Krispie Treats. One of the most delicious homemade milkshakes you’ll ever make!
I always want to get a milkshake when we go out to eat, but I never do. I’m not sure why; maybe it’s a calorie issue. On a recent vacation to Las Vegas, I enjoyed a maple bacon milkshake that was so delicious that I didn’t regret a single second of it. As a result, I’ve decided to try more milkshakes.
I’ve gone to a couple eateries that serve the most bizarre milkshake concoctions, and I’m always amazed. Just because. My favorite milkshakes are generally the alcoholic ones. Have you seen my Bourbon Smores or Mimosa Milkshakes? When I spotted this Spiked Rice Krispie Treat Shake from How Sweet It Is, I knew I had to try it!
Today I’m sharing my Rice Krispie Treat Milkshake, which is high on my list of things to cook again this summer. This shake is made with vanilla ice cream, marshmallow cream, and Rice Krispie Treats. You probably wouldn’t think to put a Rice Krispie Treat in a milkshake, but believe me when I say it’s delicious!
We eat a lot of Rice Krispie Treats in our family, and because I had just received a large supply of marshmallows, I was excited to try out a new treat. I prepared a batch of Rice Krispie Treats and laid them aside for approximately 30 minutes. You don’t need a complete batch of goodies for this recipe, so make a half batch or devour the leftovers like we do!
While the Rice Krispie Treats are cooling, I defrost the ice cream for approximately 15 minutes to make scooping simpler.
First, I combined the ice cream, milk, and marshmallow crème until it was smooth. I added the Rice Krispie Treats and blended them into the milkshake once it was smooth. You don’t have to worry about the sweets melting since they’re mixed into the drink.
Run to the kitchen, get your blender, and create this drink as soon as possible! You will not be sorry!
